Related comment. For a mill the MT3 or ANY taper MUST use a drawbar. With the lateral forces without a drawbar the taper will come loose and can be a disaster. The tang taper is ONLY for drilling or lathe work where there is no lateral force to dislodge it.

The mill came with the original 3/8”-16 drawbar.
