If you want to jump off the deep end like I did. Little machine shop sells a kit to turn it into a 7x16. Then you put a servomotorkits 900 watt servo drive on it, Then you buy the electronic leadscrew kits available all over ebay/ Alibaba, throw the controller away and adapt the controller from https://electronicleadscrew.eu/ (not affiliated, just found his to be significantly better than the overseas magic leadscrew board) or alternatively clough 42 if his come in stock again. And now you have a dangerously powerful for it's size. super usable machine.
