This is as promised for @rabler .
The Axminster variable speed metal cutting bandsaw, (though it gets up to high speed to cut wood too)!

Here we are still bringing stuff into the shop. There are 4 extra M42 blades down there, of various tooth pitches.
I have not yet found M42 available in 18TPI and 24TPI, in the correct length for the saw.

The Shop Fox wheels and heavy duty base is still to be assembled. It ends up like the one under the jointer /planer / thicknesser (terms vary)
That machine will ultimately be moved out, because it is taking up prime lathe space.

Notes:
(1) The bandsaw needs some sort of proper base, so that the saw table ends up where a tall guy like me finds it comfortable.
For a stopgap, I will put together something sturdy, in wood. I have all sorts of 100 x 50 around, and 19mm ply.

(2) Yes - I know. What's with the light switches?
The proper 200W 12V power units for the (lots of) LED lighting are here, but need installation in the loft before the wall switches by the door can be completed.
Two 5 metre strings of LED lights are temporarily using a mains outlet. There is no shortage of those! :)
Apparently, the temporary ones get all their 12V power needs from the tiny little white blobs on the power lead!

(3) Yes, I know. That is stuff to drink parked on the pillar drill!
This time, I think it is unmistakable as orange juice, but it should not be there.
Such stuff is a rust risk to a perfectly innocent machine's cast iron!

(4) Those door lights curtains are temporary. The low winter sun is right behind them. They are effective, but not really to my taste.
"The bit of floral stuff in there raises the tone of the place", so she was saying.
I did not opine otherwise, because she was the one making up the curtains!

That's not a shop! That's a parlor!
For a while, it had to be.
My son brought in pushed a different easy chair through the doorway, + laptop + duvet cover.
There is a WiFi router in the loft going back by CAT6 cable to the fibre-optic modem in the house.
There was where I spent Christmas day, isolated until the guests had left.

Old style FM radio, and about the last 1/8 bottle of some Kentucky best kinda helped.

Kinda looks like my shop . I just can't find the floors , walls or ceilings . One of these days ..................................

There is an ancient legend that my machines are supported by a concrete floor, but it simply cannot be proven.
