Best Way to Bore Out Auto Rims

I am using a New hub from a F250 to mount a 17" lathe faceplate for a wet grinding table I'm putting together for grinding flywheels and rotors. These hubs can come in very handy for projects and could certainly work for a homemade rotary table. Thanks, Charlie.View attachment 514487View attachment 514489

Nicely done! I like your ingenuity! What type of grinder do you use that with?

Hello Mike, my thoughts on this is to use my Rong Fu radial arm mill / drill table and mount a cup stone into the MT 3 spindle. I would then rotate the grinder table ( lath faceplate ) by a separate motor. After Christmas I will try to get this going again. Mike may you and your family have a Merry Christmas and a Safe and Healthy New Year. Thanks very much

I found a 3/4 inch endmill and used it in the boring bar and it worked OK when I found the right combination. I tried to regrind one of the boring bars and did not help it. i will try the other 5 lug wheel this way and if it does not work out better I will get a hole saw and do the VW rims. Thanks for the ideas.
