Best Way to Bore Out Auto Rims

My neighbor 5 miles away has a BIG rotary table he has offered to loan me but I don't want another hernia surgery.

I have an extra base for a mill vice that spins and has degree markings. Thought about building a manual rotary table on it with some plate.
Both the axle and the trailer hubs have threaded lug bolts that thread into the hub and have tapered heads that center the wheels when tightened, so not critical center hole size.

My name is Michael and I have a mill and lathe but no rotary table.
All: "Hello Michael"
Today I brought Dave with me and I would like everyone to welcome him to our "I don't have a rotary table" support group!

Dave, could you junk yard a 5x4.5" front wheel hub (or 5x4.5" rear wheel hub off a FWD vehicle) (or 5 x 4.5" trailer hub assembly) off something and make a makeshift rotary table from this spindle for this project? I would guess you would have to make some spacers for the studs to raise the rim up from the hub so you can get a cutter inside the center hole? ....use lug nuts to center the rims on the studs ...just a thought.

A man who is his own doctor has a fool for a medical provider, and Medicare would go nuts. Wonder if my supplement would cover the table? MRI ( mechanical rotating instrument).

I am using a New hub from a F250 to mount a 17" lathe faceplate for a wet grinding table I'm putting together for grinding flywheels and rotors. These hubs can come in very handy for projects and could certainly work for a homemade rotary table.
