What Did You Buy Today?

well i know they arent the worlds best, but having an organized set of taps and dies is another level from where i am, and the ratcheting tap handle will be so much easier on my still recovering wrists i hope

That's a nice set , we had them in at work . I think they are High Carbon and not HSS though if I remember correctly . I have the smaller set of tap and die wrenches which I like . Good thing with these is they can be used with pass thru sockets . :encourage:

If you look at the label , you'll see these are made to Danaher specs of Hunt Valley Md . LOL , my old company which I retired from . :D

I picked up the Husky branded version of this set a couple of years ago on a super sale (IIRC ~$75 after all discounts) as a spare to my Craftsman sets:

Here is the tap and die set without taps and dies . :grin: Sure don't need the taps nor dies for this , but it works great on the AmPro pass thru sockets . I pulled this up from the basement last night for the bay .

I've got a set of the Ampro pass through sockets. The drive broke but I kept the set anyway. Good thing because I've ran into a situation or 2 that they came in really handy!
