What Did You Buy Today?

Ordered a motor for my Jet JVM830 from Teknatool. I got to thinking about how well my Nova Voyager drill press works and contacted them regarding the motor. I was able to purchase the same 1250W motor and controller! Very excited for it to arrive and figure out the best way to install it. So, if anyone happens to have the original motor mount for a JVM830 for sale, please let me know. I'll plan to do a write up on the build and installation.

Friend gave these to me… around 30 bars. Not sure what I can use them for, but figured I would take them…

Like @yota said, it's likely they are not 99.9% lead, but some alloy typically used for casting bullets. Usually some antimony or tin is added. I use 99.9% lead for my airgun pellets and slugs. Muzzle loaders used to use pure lead as well.

Those are from Lee Loading for casting bullets.

Everyone is talking hardball or linotype, this is just lead unless it written on it. Hardball or Linotype are 10% tin (to insure flow filles mold cavity) 20 to 30% Antimony (for hardness) and 70 to 80% Lead (you know what that is for....)
