A Criterion 3" boring head... I'll swap arbors to use this on the horizontal mill... the seller didn't charge extra for the added swarf...

And a 6 Volt LED third brake light for my '40 Ford...

gee I didn't know a 40 Ford had a brake light, never mind they came with LEDs.. wow, you learn something new everyday...

Nice pickup on the Criterion .. is that 3/4 holes for it?

The brake lights and turn signals on my '40 are pretty small and easy for other distracted drivers to miss... so I've been looking for a 6v LED strip that can be wired as a third brake light and turn signals... 12v strips are fairly common, but 6v is not that easy to find...

More visibility is always a good thing, right?

The Criterion boring head does take 3/4" bars... and this one came with an adapter sleeve that allows the use of 5/8" bars... it also came with several bars...

After going through several comedies of errors trying to get a backing plate to fit the 8" 4 jaw chuck for the Monarch, I decided to call a pause and purchase a smaller chuck with a known fitting backing plate. Decided that since I do not have any idea of the Monarch's wear, to just get something "decent." Found a good price on an Atlas and dropped the order.

I was a little miffed I wasn't provided a tracking number, then I started to receive delivery dates for my "Pratt Burnerd" purchase. Ok, now I'm confused. Well guess what showed up today? 1000007279.jpg

And some very specific lubrication requirements. Necessary because the chuck is ~ 98% dry.

which is apparently a Speciality Lubricants Corp CHUCK-EEZ® power chuck lubricant private label grease. Which I happen to have. For once, don't need to wait on something else.

I fixed it you sicko’s.

Cutting oil is my blood.
Thanks, Tom - I can usually figure out errors due to typos (I make enough of them myself), but this one had me struggling: I was thinking you meant some kind of extension screw.
