Got the crate off, those messed up pallets will be a problem. Upon first inspection everything looks fine.

This took most of today, the carnage after. lol I had to saw my way in with a saws all a bit at a time to get the hoists under it. But she's safely on the floor. Tomorrow I'll haul away all this mess.

Congrats! Next will be an 8" set-tru 3-jaw chuck (the included 6" one just looks puny on the lathe), then a 5-C collet chuck, then a DRO, then a bunch more BXA tool holders, etc. etc. etc. Ask me how I know!

Bison 8" 3 jaw - Purchased from Grizzly, they were on sale for $143 off plus free shipping.

On this note beware of the A*** Tools who advertises low prices on these. The site said everything I ordered was in stock. Days passed and no shipping. Called, they said they would check on my order then ghosted me. Called a 2nd time and they finally admitted none or what I ordered was in stock. Total waste of days of my time. Very important to pin down the sellers with low pricing to confirm they actually have the stuff in stock, IN THEIR WAREHOUSE.

Sellers with actual stock in their own warehouse ready to ship - KBC Tools, Travers Tools. Travers sent a person out into the warehouse to put eyes on the backing plate to confirm they had one.
