I posted earlier that a scrap yard is a good source for project material when I found the material for the painting rack I was building. I ran out of material before that project (http://www.hobby-machinist.com/showthread.php/8227-Painting-Rack) was complete.
Today I stopped at the scrap yard while nearby to get the flat stock needed to finish the painting rack. I quickly found the material needed to complete the paint rack but decided to take a walk about. Looking at a pile of punch press droppings I saw a drill sticking out of the chips. Digging around I found several pounds of tooling so another tool gloat today. The required photo shows a number of drills, hex wrenches, taps, a pin gage, Vise-Grips and socket wrenches.
I need to quit going there or I will run out of space in the shop!:bitingnails:)

Hope this qualifies for shop tooling.
.................. what I call the "T-Hook". These were made from flat stock with a piece of 1/4" chain link welded to it. They slip into the channel and can be moved along the length as needed. I planned on making 6 T-Hooks to start and cut the chain links but ran out of the right size flat stock so there only 3 showing. ............
