New Use for Roller Chain

There are some who eat them. This is for nuisance control. They dig up the whole world. Supposedly you can only get leprosy from eating them or sharing air in a confined space. And leprosy is not as bad as it was in the dark ages. They dug up my curtain drain, flooded my crawlspace, etc. Not good pets.

Sandhill cranes are a protected species. Nice picture. Not that common of a bird to see. Sometimes will see them in standing water mixed in with the ducks and geese while they are migrating

In your area, you may be able to get a pretty good chunk of chain from a farmer with a non-functional round baler. I got a nice chunk and used it to make this small hardware rotisserie. Farmers will usually give you stuff like this just to get it out of their barns.

Shoot them, bury them, wash my hands. I have plenty of chain. Just looking for a good way to mount links.

run a wire thru the unused end and screw to the box?
