What Did You Buy Today?

After looking at individual prices for cap screws decided to buy an assortment from "Bolts & Nuts". This one is metric, comes in a decent metal case with i.d. chart. Will probably order an imperial one at some point. A trip to HF netted a set of long punches, some socket organizers which are not being used as marked, but do keep everything upright, and finally a somewhat cheesy 2' layout square which should be adequate for it's intended use. Also got that rainbow that had been on back order. Cheers, Mike

Scored off FB this morning.

12" Mit and Starrett S579H t'scope set.

Going to send the Mit off to mark Ratkowski for a clean, refresh and new lens
And see If I can get a new sleeve from Starrett for the scope set

went to a garage sale. Picked up these hardened Starrett heads... Someone already bought the protractor head, which I would have loved to score.
ask was 20, gave 15.. so I feel really good about having both the regular heads, and hardened heads. The regular will now be dedicated to the wood shop, and the hardened to the metal shop.

Amazing that someone would be willing to break up the set, especially for the money you gave. Looks like they are in great shape.

So here is something that came with all the stuff I picked up the other week I did some looking on the internet and didn’t see anything that looked like this . I was told it was for dressing the wheel in the surface grinder . I guess it is a radius dresser of some kind ?? I need to take apart and clean for sure but everything moves with the cross slide and it spins 360 degrees on the base
