What Did You Buy Today?

The threaded holes are there to make it more difficult to remove the accumulated chips.
Speaking of 123 blocks. Look at what's the special of the week this week:

I thought I would take a big chance on this pair of 2-4-6 blocks. 0.0001" matching for $50.

Looking back a few pages, I bought what was advertised as a pair of "ultra preciaion 2-4-6 blocks for $50. Fellow HM members pointed out inconsistencies in the ad, so I questioned the seller...and he said "the dimensions are in millimeters, not inches" and offered a full refund, which of course I have accepted. Thanks y'all for the assistance.

.0001mm ?

I got into a transmission for my little crawler to switch up the divorced transfer case to a married double TC setup. The trans I ended up with was pretty hammered. The input shaft was wasted. Suzuki Japan has licensed their Maruti India subsidiary to make current productio, so that's what I expected when I ordered a replacement. I got a very nice part with QC cartouches from Taiwan. Very nice gears, nice steel, I'm happy!

Technically I bought these a few days ago but they came in the mail today
I got tired of pulling the tool holder out of the lock ring whenever I was making multiple changeovers so I bought two more collet clamp nuts.

Good idea. I upgraded to a ball bearing nut on my most used holders, and kept the plain nuts but I never thought of using them to save time on set-ups. I have a project coming up where I will be needing three different collets, so this will definitely save time & effort (even though time isn't as relevant when you're retired.

Cheapest USA Supplier !!!

-Brand New-

We have just negotiated new lower prices with our suppliers....

Need more than a couple, look for our But 5 for the price of 4 and save even more !!

New Item !!

These ER32 Bearing Collet Nuts won't improve your machines accuracy much (maybe .0002") but they will extend your tool life.

Normal collets can get scratched as they are tightened inside the tool holder.

These bearing nuts float the collet in the center of the tool holder and as they are tightened, they won't spin the collet as they are tightened and therefore they don't scratch the tool holder or the collet

Made from gear & bearing steel. Each nut has its own set of internal bearings.

Beware of bearing nuts with colored centers made of aluminum or brass.

Designed for use with any type of ISO30 tool holder and auto tool changing system or

YES !! you can use these on an ER32 collet spindle also.

These nuts have the standard M40 x 1.5 thread cut.

Examples, These are a direct fit for Biesse, CNT Motion, CR Onsrud, DMS, Flexicam, Multicam, Northwood, Techno, Laguna, Thermwood and many more...

Improved design, shipping weight is only 170 grams or 6 ounces.
