What Did You Buy Today?

Seems like that would be fun to watch work! What does one machine with that setup?
From what i understand tool amd die makers used them for making pockets and voids in molds.... i mostly picked it up because its cool and the price was nice and i needed anpther project like a hole in my head lol

I didn’t buy them so don’t know if they qualify here. I picked them up on a renovation construction job. Strips of very heavy steel (5x48x3/4”) and a plate of 1” steel (maybe 15x15”). Also very heavy. I used a hand truck and I let 2 of my employees load everything. There is another 10 or so 5x48” strips if I want them.

I have a few of the Olsa socket rails. The plastic end caps won’t keep the clips from sliding off so I put screws and nuts in the slots to keep the clips on.

Do you have the accessory locking plastic end caps or the ones pictured above?

Flea market buy:

Brand new Craftsman 1/2" drive.
BUT why is it brown??? I have never seen this. I know impact sockets are sometimes this color.

EDIT: apparently it does or did exist
CRAFTSMAN INDUSTRIAL 9-2381 Driver Size, 36 No. of Teeth, 10.375" Overall Length Ratchet

The appearance is said to minimize light reflection. I can see why, I hate when light reflects off my socket wrenches and blinds me...
Perhaps this is useful in laser labs?
