got these 4 items this morning. cleaned them up, took the hammer handles off and rehung them with proper wedging. 20 bucks.

I also did . Price is up there ! I have a bunch of these old tools , was going to run them up to the dump . Maybe I'll hold onto them for a rainy day Fleapay ad . Old Nicholson files ..............I have buckets full of them .

the old Nicholson files were pretty good. have a number of them but didn't have this one.

Last time I bought one the girl behind the counter asked if I wanted the flat bastard . I told her no , I wanted the round MFer . All joking aside , I can't remember ever using files much over the years . I guess I did , but can't remember . I see some crazy prices for the USA made .

apparently, Victory was a WWII production line of Plumb tools.

I did both ends of the vise handle I made mostly with hammer and files. last bits were with a sander and buffer.

correction. I'm an idiot. the Plumb Victory is the larger Cross pein hammer, not the hatchet. looks like the hatchet is a much more modern BARCO scout axe.
