What Did You Buy Today?

The generator is 8.3 amps max, 1000 watts. A handheld circular saw is 15 amps. I tried to cut a 1 x 6 and it kicked out. A 120 volt heater is 1350 watts. My fridge is 7.1 amps. Would run computers, charge your phone, run the TV and stereo.

Another New Rage 3 10" blade in only a months time. Barely able to cut schedule 40 PVC after that one particular piece of rebar.

Apparently some mixes used in rebar will do a number on the carbide teeth-Oops.

Lots of import rebar around these days. Highly variable! We had some that was so brittle it would snap when using the bar bender while some was so soft you could kink it by hand. No spec rebar!

Never using the Rage 3 on another piece of rebar. Those blades are pricey.

From now on back to the 14" abrasive cut off sparky saw.

The lathe may be down, but that won't stop me from accessorizing. Got this on ebay. Moving the lathe tooling I was able to clear up room in the "machining" toolbox. Which will let me fit more in the drawers.

For these, all I can say is sometimes I have more money than sense, lol. I really don't like having to change everything every time I want to switch between sizes or tools. And I can't resist uniformity and shiny tooling. I bought quite a few ER32 R8 collet holders and am setting up a set for steel and a set for aluminum. 5/8-1/8th inch. With the power draw bar I can just grab each size I'll need and go.
