What Did You Buy Today?

Where did you get that set of spanner wrenches with the red handles?

IIRC, HF, Amazon & eBay over a period of years. Some may be extras from various ER holders/chucks/blocks (only need one near the lathe/mill and for a while a spanner was included with every purchase).

A nice assortment of taps, reamers, and a few endmills for a crisp $100 bill. Being sold by a widow clearing out her husband's machine shop. There was more including a like new set of starrett mics still in case but sadly I had a hard $100 limit today.

Got this nice 8" rotary table. Don't see a name on it but it does say Made in Japan and has very little backlash.

OK - this is a Grafar Auto-Gel precision gel punching systems - i bought it b/c it looked cool but i have no idea what it's used for. Ideas?

Second Item:

Shop made something or other.... Has a counter bore and the brass ring screws onto the aluminum section and is threaded on the other end.

Last item ratchets in either direction by pulling a toggle. The end opposite the chuck is tapered. The chuck says Goodell-Pratt on it . If i had to guess i'd say it's a hand tapping device.

Working on a big project. Spent a bunch of money with Bolt Depot. All 3/4" grade 8 stuff.

I have a somewhat smaller order coming Tuesday, 3/8" thick SS flange washers (landscaping project) and some 1/4-20 FHCS. I have purchased 3/4-16 hardware, but only a couple of Aluminum bolts.
