What Did You Buy Today?

You know those days, where you just need to reach a screw that's hard to get at. When that happens next time, I'll prompely forget exactly where this is at!

Wera Zyklop Mini1. Takes 1/4" hex tools. Nice little knurled back that allows you to spin the tool with your fingers without ratcheting the handle.
Has a hex to 1/4 drive square adapter with it, but unfortunately they only make the low profile sockets in metrik!

Love that tool… got one a few years back.

Anybody but me surprised and pleased with their Vevor purchases? The breadth of product offerings is pretty crazy. I recently got a Sauna heater and a Bridgeport power feed. Each were very satisfactory, and certainly priced right. I also got some (4) of their yellow machine skates...but haven't used them yet. They look pretty serious.

They also ship quickly...two day free delivery to me.

The ultrasonic cleaner I bought several months ago has seen a lot of use and has been excellent. I recently bought their red machine skates and toe jack and they look to be good quality. I tested the jack and it works as advertised. In the near future, I’m buying the power feed you did to replace the dead one on BP clone I’m selling.

The price is so hard to beat, like $116 or $126. They have two models listed, I have both...they seem identical. One says 150 pounds torque, whatever that means, the other says 450 in-pounds. They look like every other power feed I've had...Align, Bestline, or similar. It's an amazing collection of very inexpensive parts...but the motor seems custom.

Today, I went to Habbah Freight with intent to scrounge what I could of the dwindling supply of their Series 2 tool boxes. I checked online and they said my local store only has a few things left in awful colors. I don't want my toolbox looking like a rainbow or some bs sports team tribute, but I decided it might be best for me to abandon that reservation and get my butt down there before they're gone. The Series 3 is twice the cost of Series 2, for those of you who have them. Anyway, when I got there it was looking like nothing was in stock at all except display models. I asked the nice folks what they had, and one girl got a call on her radio that said a truck came in... and it had all the stuff on my list, in the color that matches my existing bottom cabinet. I was overjoyed!

I decided the big honkin' US GENERAL decal looked a little too much like a Hummer with spinning rims, so I peeled it off and was heading to the trash bin, when I realized where it really belonged. The $#!ttiest chinesium mis-engineered junk tool I've ever owned said, decorate me! I was a display model at Habbah Freight back in the nineties, I wanna tell everybody where I'm from!
