What Did You Buy Today?

Found this Federal on fleabay and was able to buy it for $28. Seems to be very well cared for and returns to zero every time. I let the neighbors kids play with my .00005”yard stick so to check it I touched it against the countertop then push it in .00005”. Seems to be darn close.

I've never seen one of those.. that's gotta be the holy grail of federal indicators... YOU SUCK

A twentieths indicator? How long does it take to dial parts in your 4-jaw with that?
 
I was working on my lathe in the garage when I heard a truck arrive, some grunting, and then it drive away. I found this on my front porch. I ordered them from Vevor a couple of days ago.

They appear well made. The 4-pack of skates were on sale and the jack was priced too good to pass up - and free shipping! The toe jack would have been handy several times over that past several years and I'll need it soon when when I get lathe reassembled. Then I have to shuffle a few mills around.
 
This was delivered today. I got it on ebay... won an auction. I have never had any endmill higher than 4 flutes that I can remember. I figure this should be a good finishing endmill, although with the huge radius it probably can be run at high speed and do some hogging with light cuts, since it is 9 flutes.
