@verbotenwhisky that is why I suggested that he use what he has for now. I think it is more important at the start to get a feel for the machine and how it sounds when it is happy than focusing on too many cutters. I too have a large collection of end mills, HSS, carbide, name brand, some are even Niagara, and a few selected AliExpress brands that I trust. But generally I settle in on 1 or 2 sizes for most of my smallish work. Makes the math for offsets easier as well, esp when using metric sizes since almost all of my work is in metric.
If I am doing something precise and it needs extra care, I use a new carbide end mill. Once that has been used a few times it goes into the 'used but still more than good enough' section.
