Looks real good. Do you build your own spark coil or is it something you buy or make from some other coil? How do you set the timing?

I get my ignition modules from China. I set the timing to top dead center to start with

This is the ignition module I have been using. It uses a Hall sensor and a magnet to trigger it. 'The magnet is mounted in an aluminum disk on the crankshaft. I set the disk so it triggers the module at TDC.

I put rubber feet on the bottom of the base board.
Couple of pictures with the engine mounted on the base.

I adjusted the ignition timing and the valve timing.

As usual, beautiful work. Your skills are admired.

The outside of a piece of round aluminum stock is skimmed to get a consistent OD.
The inside is then drilled out to remove the waste.
This shows cutting the lip for the end pieces of plexiglass to fit into.


Cutting the end pieces to size using pressure from the tool post only to hold them in place.


All the gas tank parts before assembly.
