Md to Toronto to Calgary to Md .

Up until 1980, (when I moved away) we'd see the aurora many times in the year, and we were at 43º N as well.

Hard to beat the aurora light show at CFS Alert…spent 6 months there. Seeing the aurora at -42c in the midday blackness is hard to beat….

141 miles up the Ice Fields and into Jasper . Pretty nice ride with lots of views . Spent the night at Pyramid Lake Resort which was very nice . Another 400 miles of driving but well worth it . Have plenty of pics of the mountains , lakes , glaciers etc . Saw 1 deer .

We saw 4 deer this evening along side the Niagara Parkway grazing in a couple still unbuilt lots.

I've seen more wildlife in my driveway in one night in Md. than 4300 miles across Canada !

/\/\/\/\ Most likely cuz we had an attack dog with us at all times . He's afraid of his own tail .

Last week we had a bobcat in our lane... he walked about 8 feet away from me. Then, as my daughter was leaving through the front gate, he was trying to get into our back yard! really cool!

I just found out I took 2 days worth of pictures with a full card .

I have seen more than 5 people going thru the trash cans pulling out aluminum cans . I had to look it up and found out a beer/soda can is worth 10 cents each .
