I actually watched took the time to watch 16 minutes of ads to watch 16 minutes of video . I usually just click as soon as the ad will let me skip but since the ads have got so bad I actually decided to just see how bad they really are with data. It is very annoying to me to keep getting interrupted while trying to learn something. that I am enjoying. My concern is that You Tube is about to put itself out of business with all the adds. I have seen some of the better creators' voice that they have lost a lot of viewers compared to what they used to get. but of course, greedy Google would just sell ads into a vacuum. There is just no respect for the consumer anymore. People are tired of being stepped on. I will probably re-new my homeowner's insurance today. I used to pay it by the year instead of every 6 months. But the premiums have got so high I went to every 6 months in protest. I am nearing the point of just dropping it and moving into a Sea container if It gets destroyed. With the premium at near $4000 a year I could be living in a pretty nice Sea Can in 2 years' worth of premiums I currently live in a 4-bedroom house by myself. already paid more in premimums in the last 38 years than I originally paid for the house and 8.25 acres of land. January first of every year I am already in debt to insurance and taxes $10,000. Yep first 10 k every year goes to property taxes and insurance. Don't even ask me about healthcare. My rant has gone from You tube to Insurance etc. But somebody has to pay for the unreasonable advertising. It is just passed on to the consumer as cost of products and services.

Not a rant but had a wake up call today . I need supplies shipped monthly for my medical issues . I placed an order 10 days ago with my regular supplier but never received the supplies . I get a phone call from them today saying I need a new script from my doctor before they'll ship my order and all future orders . This is not a medical issue that is going to correct itself , rather a life long issue . So , call the doc's office to get a script and now have to schedule an appointment per the registering office . Next available appointment was Feb. 26th . :headache:If I run out of bags before then , I plan on driving up to their place every day and sitting in the waiting room pissing on their floor . WTH is going on in this world ?

your dr's office should provide an emergency fill. I get the same **** from my dr. The medical community is now more business and less care.

I agree . I've been done seeing this doc for 3 years now or so . He was just the surgeon who performed the operation and he told me I was done with him . My question was , why did they think I wouldn't be needing my supplies all of a sudden ? This company calls me every month to order supplies . I don't order every month as it would be way too much and I'm not abusing the system . From now on , you betcha I'm ordering every month . I'll stock 3 years worth if I have to play their game .

I had the same issue with one of my meds Eloquis. An anticoagulant that I MUST take twice a day or else have a stroke. CVS is my pharmacy and I hate them but my insurance told me that if I didn't use CVS my co-pay would almost double. About 2 years ago my PCP quit and I was assigned another one. My prescription was on hold because they said I had to make an appointment with my PCP to get it refilled. So I was on a 90 day waiting list to get in to the doctor. I called my Cardiologist and they gave me enough samples to get me by until I could get in to see my PCP. Its a shell game. My cardiologist is the one insisting I take Eloquis and I have an on going exam every 6 months from him. But guess what It is illegal for a Cardiologist to treat a person that is not refered by a PCP. 10 years ago I was hospitalized with a pretty severe heart attack. The hospital assigned a PCP to me. (they worked for the hospital of course) The pcp came into my room the first time and said he was letting the Cardiologist call the shots because I was "Pretty Sick" after 6 days in the hospital I left with a bill of $112,000. Then about a month later I got a bill from the PCP they had assigned to me for around $1250. $1250 for sticking his head in the door and saying "You are Pretty Sick" BTW my co-pay for Eliquis in January is in excess of $700 for 90 day supply and $100 a month every month the rest of the year. i can understand consumers getting provoked. I am too old and sick to let myself get angry. With my bad heart Anger is not something I get to enjoy anymore.

I pay for youtube with no ads. Our time has value, even if not working. So, for me it is worth it. I'll pay that much to save my time. I'm usually on youtube for specific reasons and I like to get on to other things as quick as I can.

My youtube complaints include showing me 100 different videos of the latest scandal, murderer, FED interest hike, etc. How many times do I click on "Not interested" before the algorithm gets it? Algo isn't listening obviously.

I purposefully DON'T click on any video with these titles: "blah blah they don't want you to know...", "...Game changer...", "...mind blowing...", "the dirty secret of...", something something "you should never do.", "how whatever,whatever...", "why whatever whatever...", "5/10/25 ways to whatever", "x/y/z regrets", "I wish I had known blah blah", "Oh why did I buy..." and the like.

I purposefully DON'T click on anything with a face-palm, fake tears, and the like. Unless it is This Old Tony and he's making fun of them.

Maybe if more of us weren't lured to those maddening, stupid things then they would just stop already.

Or what they don't want you to know. How Fing stupid. Just give us the adult title.. Because I will never click on it unless a friend tells me that it's worth watching.

Such is the health care system we all know and love.... well, maybe not the latter. It doesn't make a lot of sense that I would have to see my internal medicine GP in order to get a referral to a cardiologist other than to generate revenue for the health care network. You call about a problem and told you can see your GP in a couple of weeks and then the GP sets up an appointment for you three months down the line. Meanwhile, the health care system is complaining about being understaffed.

From the prescription standpoint, I guess that I am fairly well off. I get my meds from Walmart because the Part D insurance was the least expensive for me. During the pandemic, Walmart started offering free home delivery for all medication that didn't require an i.d. When my prescriptions are due to expire before the next refill, I get a taxt message and email notifying that the prescription needs to be renewed. Walmart will fax my GP to get it done upon my request or I can send a message via Epic MyChart to my GP and it is usually sent to the pharmacy that day. For one off issues like getting a doxycillan dos due to a deer tick bite, I message my GP and get the prescription, no in person visits or host of questions as to why.

Give your Dr. a bad rating on Google. A friend had a similar problem. Could not get office to renew her online monitors. A few days later it came in the mail.
