I'm about ready to join Whiners Anonymous

Living 10 miles from the Post Office and 45 miles from the UPS store, returns can get to be a bother. On my last return to Amazon, I noticed a third option. Box it myself, print a label and stick it on the box, leave the box on the porch and UPS picks it up. Oooh, oooh, option number three please!
Same reason I order from Amazon instead of driving to town.

I recently had to return some things to Aliexpress. They seem to have learned something from McMaster. If it's under $10, they don't want it back, it's cheaper just to issue a refund.

Yep I must drive to town also. The main reason I order from Amazon and Sams is to avoid town. And to be honest to avoid people. I was in the people business for 30 years and dealing with the 500 adult Brats Now I wear people repellant. Before I retired I would drive to Lawton 50 miles one way just to have dinner on Friday nights to avoid seeing anyone from work in a restaurant Nothing like trying to enjoy a good meal while some employee wants to stand next to your table and talk about work. . My first goal when I retired was to have an uninterrupted Bowel Movement.

I rarely have issue with Amazon but the rare times I've had a return it was a pain.
Most recently I ordered pencil leads for mechanical pencils. It was supposed to be a box of 12 tubes, 12 leads per tube (144 total). I received 1 tube with 12 leads. $14 so not the end of the world but way more than 1 tube should cost.
I had to go through a bunch of AI road blocks that wanted me to return the tube to get a refund. Return shipping would be more than the value of the tube. Finally I got a live person, they agreed to just resend the box of leads ordered and I could keep the 1 tube I got.
Initial order was placed in July, I just got an email that the replacement shipped Sept 4th. Only 6 weeks for delivery.

AI has just begun to ruin our lives. Just wait.
