That's a perfect illustration for the system we are considering (I think)
I modified it as shown below: You would not buy this particular unit, but instead, a generic 24 volt ac contactor and an overload relay with a smaller amperage range, plus the transformer and pushbuttons
If you decide to build it, I can help you choose the parts. The transformer should supply about 1 amp
The whole thing shouldn't cost more than about 30-35 quid thru Aliexpress
