What Did You Buy Today?

Technically not a purchase, but someone had thrown out this old 40 mm. I took the spindle out and oiled the dovetailed guideways. Otherwise I don't plan to do anything about it as I like the patina. It is peculiar by opening backwards, but I can't figure out what make it is.

Looks like a nice little vise. Great for small table work.
 
no idea really but doesn't look like new junk. maybe someone will recognize the logo.

Nope, it's certainly not new junk. It's quite well aligned, though in no way a precision vice. I did a picture search for the logo, it yielded a thread on a German forum discussing the logo, but noone there recognized it.
 
I bought some cheap Chinese stuff for less than it usually cost, lol
3” vise and some index tooling $25 for the lot.
I cant buy the material this is made from for that.
One of the guys I know , knows im always on the hunt. He has no idea manufacture or what else is in the box . Its waiting for me at home: Edit , hes not dropped it off yet.
