I see some original Red Lines in there . I still have all mine upstairs packed away . Some depending on the car color and interior are worth the BIG $$$$ !

I have all mine also. Some even with my custom paint jobs. ( think 7 year old with testors). Mine lived a hard life. And all of my badges stamped steel and plastic.

After nine months of waiting for a single tub of Lucas Red 'N' Tacky to arrive, I gave up and ordered Graisse Rose from Velox instead. I don’t know if it’s as good as the Lucas, but at least it’s available :hate: And made in France!

Funny… I would always buy two of the same… one was for my son and one for me. Mine are still in original packaging… but we still have my son’s. Those too, lived a hard life. There are meant to be played with and they sure were…

I was out in California in 69 after my Dad passed away . His sister (my aunt) bought me all the 68s and a bunch of the then new 69s . Rode hard and hung up wet . Theres a 1000 newer ones up there still in the blister packs that we never opened as the kids played with mine . Have all the original track still also . AFX cars and track , bunch of other toys from the 60s . Beer can collection from back in the 70s , the place looks like a scrap yard !

Scooped up this press brake made by a tool and die maker.
Far nicer than I could have cobbled together!

Nice unit. Of course you have now created a need for various shapes of tooling to go along with it.
It is an endless circle. Enjoy!

On a side note. I have been buying a lot of tooling for my lathe. Minor purchases unto themselves, but over time they sure add up. Didn't think they were worth taking pictures of each piece. Between various turning holders, radius holders, boring bars, cut off tool holders, and some specialty tool holders. Of course like with the press brake, now this has created a need for more quick change holders for the tool post.
... and the circle continues.

I decide to try my hand at forging. Just getting the bare necessities to try it right now. Hobby (low) level! I just want to see if I can actually make something. Entertainment for an old man. I've got a 40# anvil, propane ,cheap, forge and just ordered some tongs from Home Depot. I had to setup an account to order from HD and saw that they had a 10% discount on a limited selection of items for current & ex-military. So I put my Navy info in to the form and to my surprise was approved in a very short time.
Another surprise was HD's selling of Vevor stuff at the same prices including when Vevor had a sale price on the items. Also "free" shipping. HD isn't carrying what I was looking for in-store. Lowes offers a similar ex / military discount.
HD also sells through military exchanges where no sales tax is applied!
