Yep first wipe in 3 years. I could only find one of the felt holders. Not surprised. It probably only had one on it. It was so nasty looking when I bought it probably did not have them. So today I made some out of the slugs that you punch out of electrical boxes. Yep, saved again by all the junk I keep hanging onto. For some reason I decided not to throw 6 of them away. Like I kind of thought I might need them. LOL Anyway here is the pictures and she is wiping herself now.

Sometimes you have to resort to old ways to get the job done. I started with a stack of three in my mill vice thinking I would rough them out then take a file and clean them up. Not so easy to hold on to. So out came the old Hack Saw and file.

Absolutely. Over the past year, benchwork has enabled things that would not have been possible, or taken an awful lot of tine and passes with my little 7x and milling attachment.

A solid vice (I missed out the word 'good' there since mine is a modern Wilton that I got for cheap on a Prime day from Amazon Warehouse), a good set of files (mine are Pferd), some patience and elbow grease can do an awful lot if you only need middling accuracy.

Nice work on the wipers. :)
