Threading and thread measuring question

I just rechecked my math as asked to do and you have my humble apology. Your thread is already cut .030 under. Again my humble apology as you cannot cut it back on once it's gone. Thanks Tony and Ray. Don't know where my head was on that one..

Is there any way the guy can disassemble the silencer can and send you the threaded end? Would make things so much easier...

I was hoping that I could get away without it, but it looks like that would be the safest best. The quick detach piece is a AAC 51t flash suppressor.

I cant have any of the silencer in my possession without a license or him present.

I am going to recut the thread, just to be on the safe side.

Another option might be is to either single point or tap a 2A 5/8-24 threaded hole in some scrap and use it for test fitting. I have done this in the past and worked out fine.
