Tested positive for Covid last night

Hard to avoid it forever, never the less sorry to hear you got hit. As the saying goes, get well soon.

Hope things continue to improve, sounds like you’re already starting to round the bend. :encourage:

I wish, I just started with this, I'm not rounding the bend, the wife has. I am feeling like crap. Hopefully a short one.

Bummer! I got it in January after a flight to Atlanta. Felt like crap for two or three days, then improved fairly quickly. I think the 4 shots and a week of Paxlovid helped a bunch. Took a looooong time to test negative though, even though I'd felt fine for over a week.

Start taking about 40 mg of zinc daily. Also, get some Quercetin and take that daily. Quercetin is an ionophore, which facilitates the transport of the zinc across the cell membrane. Zinc virtually stops the virus reproducing in its tracks. If you aren't outside a lot and get tons of vitamin D, then also take about 10,000 IU of vitamin D3 daily. Vitamin D3 is critical to boosting your immune response to this and many other viral infections.

I hope you get through it quickly.
I've had it twice, once pre Vaccine which was a 3 week long nightmare and after vax, I barely felt it.

My sister and dad got it before Christmas, both took almost 10 days to test negative. Dad being in a home was an issue as he was confined to his room for those days.
Hopefully just cold like symptoms.

My wife and both got it in October.
For both of us it was like a mild flu for a few days. The heavy coughing lasted for a couple of weeks though.
It wasn't a big deal.
She got the shot and one booster.
I never got any of them.
