Pylex Screw Pile - Impact Gun Adapter

I wonder what side of the slope he's on? Maybe cut some holes in the floor, and call it a self deploying fishing shanty?

8 hrs, broke the home made tool twice, impact driver died on me, burned myself several times from the impact heat of the tool and forgetting that I had welded it back to life.

1/8 pilings went in without stopping. All of the others require excavating large stones at 18-24” down. Remove piling, remove stones, pile drive and backfill and pack. 6/8 pilings are 20-24” past the frost line by my estimates. We had two at the end that were 48-52” down and stopped cold on only what I can imagine is a large slab grinning up at us and is goes by the name of Bedrockus Screwoffia.

0/5 Stars would not recommend. But we will be framing tomorrow! And my son is happy about that.

Also each member of the Lund household earned an honorary geology degree today and learned some new words from me.

I will never be afraid of concrete and post hole diggers again.

My machine shop was built on the grade seven years ago. Brought in several tons of fill leveled and poured the floating slab on that. Fill is retained with a three foot retaining wall and holds back the basketball court on the back of the shop for the boys.
