Wanted to try out the new DRO scales on my RF31 mill and see how accurate they were, so I decided to fabricate a couple of new rear sights for my sons Beretta Nano pistol. He complains that it shoots too low, and since they are fixed, with a very low front sight to start with, the only option open was a higher rear sight. So......using the new DRO's, I went to work and ended up with these. Turned out fairly nice, and best of all they fit like a glove. Now we just have to get some time to test them out. :))

Oh, and BTW, the DRO's worked perfectly for me this time. No issues whatsoever - I was quite happy with them.:allgood:

Nice work!
Really like to see all the neat projects people are doing.

Lookin good and a question please. Is one of those pictures showing the parts from a hot part oil bath?

It probably looks like it, but no. These were given a good dose of BlueWonder Gun Black treatment, and then a good shot of the developer liquid they provide. That's what you see in the picture. Once that sets for about two hours it is cleaned off and a good coating of oil is applied. They are a very subdued black now to match the finish of the pistol......
