A little off subject but what are the little guards there, that you have dropped into the t slots? What are they made of I mean?

It is either rubber, plastic or alloy, designed to drop in to the slot and stop swarf / detritus /oils collecting where it is difficult to clean

80/20 and Bosch both sell "fillers" for their strut - I wonder if they'd have a size that fits?
