some one stop me that all I got on ebay today in one picture is a lathe dog that I don't need if someone wont it you can have it
it well be a week or so till I get it I don't have the size of it but ill put it in a box and ship it to you ((((((( yes free ))))))) pm me if you wont it

I can't be sure, but it makes me think of an anti-chatter holder for either threading or use on a shaper. Could be shop-made, as the name stamped on it appears to be just hand stamped, probably by the machinist who made it. There would be a sort of circular thread form ground tool mounted on it. They were designed to rotate as they were sharpened so the edge stayed on center line.

Yep, it's an anti chatter tool with a missing part or parts. Most useful on shapers and lathes......look in old machine shop books.
I have seen them there,just don't remember which one........
