Could use some advise

Ha!! My apologies. Slip of the mind/fingers...

""Keep in mind there is a proper way to go about it, and a not so proper way. Courtesy, respect and level-headedness (but firm) will often get you better results""

When would you say that diminishes and hard firm jerk comes into play?? Like if I was waiting over 2 months on a gasket, still not arrived and being ghosted? Would that qualify or continue turning that cheek? Just wondering as I have never been in a predicament like this. I actually told my wife about all this issue LAST NIGHT knowing what would happen and she didn't give me the "proper way" HAHAHA but that's why I waited so I could brace for it

not sure why it would take that long. I've ordered a number of things from overseas and they haven't even taken 2 weeks. got some parts from France in 3 days. covid is over.

Is it a special gasket? If not, I would make it. If it is an o-ring those can be sourced locally. I would be looking for help with the part parts, I am not much on fussing about things I can take control of. Does that mean I think you are being unreasonable? NOT AT ALL....

Why would it take so long?? I am just guessing here but I am thinking they got them, and they were damaged terribly and now won't let me know this BUT complete guess.

Is it a special gasket?? Nope but it is a pretty large one and my thought of cutting it with scissors and some kind of hole cutter just didn't give me all warm and fuzzy. I actually have a drag knife for my CNC table, and I could easily cut this professionally but they wont give me the file for it so I would have to draw it out myself.
I gave in today and called. I asked for a Tech Supervisor and the lady named someone as Charly. It went to VM so I left a message. This was almost 2hrs ago and no call back yet.
I have intentionally NOT used this lathe for over 2 weeks and I have leaks and terrible stains on every orifice on this thing.
I have been around a bit, and I am 99.99999% sure this gasket will not fix the leak. I cannot see where else it can be unless it is coming from the bolts or its coming from bad casting and I siliconed the bolts.
Every orifice on this machine leaking isn't as concerning as the noise in the lower box but the leaks do suck being the machine was less than 4-5 months old at the time all this started.
NOTE: I am not a complaining crybaby I just have never purchased a new lathe from "CHINA" (that's a Trump joke) and just looking for experienced advice. The thought of sending this back makes me cringe but I have zero desire to pull this gear box apart and then have to dial the bed back in and in my mind knowing in 3yrs this thing could easily crader again.
I will be more than cautious moving forward on buying anything from China.
As I said before I am very disappointed PM doesn't stock anything for this lathe, and this would have suede my decision to purchase.

I'd be inclined to post a carefully worded video review that clearly shows your issues and beefs with your purchase and list off your experience trying to correct the defects. People might want to know, PM might want to know. Keep it friendly and don't burn the bridge, but be up front about why you are unhappy. Make sure your communication is clear and try to get a resolution again. Something must not be getting through if you feel abandoned in your efforts to just break even on what you've spent for your brand new machine.

HHMMMM that is not a terrible idea. Where would you post it? Here?
5:30 and I still have not call back from them.
