[How-To] Advise for a Vise

Just finished my first project on the Lathe and Mill. I bough this old Logan lathe, Model 1920, and the owner had lost the "peg-leg" motor support. A friend donated the brass screw from an old water valve and the yoke off an old driveline. I machined them square and made the aluminum cap for the motor support. Works out great!

We can't all have Kurt, but just because we're on a budget doesn't mean we can't have nicer imported things...

My Mil came with a Teco vise, basically a Kurt knock off with good quality.
