A while ago I was looking at a similar model made by MAXX out of Germany. I got a real shock when the starting prices were a little over $1,000.00 for a 500 lb. model and $2,200.00 for one that could lift 1,500 lbs.

Lifting devices, like ladders, are priced including liability concerns/insurance.

True that. I recall my aunt saying we had relatives in Cali. Who knows, our clan where for the most part from southern Wisconsin. Got to meet a few relatives when I was in Ireland 20 some years ago. Cheers, Mike

LOL , Ireland . My son got his Masters from U of Limerick . Spent a few months there and remember the flights , that's about all .

The delivery truck dropped off a package containing a baby bullet with the matching base...



Aside from some scratches and chips in the paint, it doesn't look like it has ever been used. There are no dents in the jaws or the 'anvil'... I'm pleased with it.

Cali became home in the mid-70s when Dad was stationed at Norton AFB. My grandparents on both sides moved from Pennysilvia (mom's side) and Montana (dad's side) to @pontiac428 neck of the woods (Bremerton) during wartime for work in the shipyard.
