I'm right there with you.. I just bought a 200lb 4th axis. There's no way I'm lifting that on and off the mill table. Pretty sure a Sky Hook is in my future.

They're called a Skyhook - I have one and love it, even made some dovetail attachments around the shop to use it in more places than just the mill/lathe.. They are pricey ever since Abom showed it off. The retiree I got mine from said he think he had spent like 250$ on his and the price went nuts after youtube acclaim..

It seems like the Sky Hook attached to the compound would cause a lot of stress to the compound and cross slide.

I was thinking about using the 2 bolts that attach my follow rest.
