I bought a little BS today. Seems like I buy a little BS everyday but this time its stamped on the product. I don't often need adjustable parallels but occasionally I find where they could help me..

Got them off the bay for $97 to the door. Two of the 6 were still in the oil paper.

Just got a emco compact 8 that is made in austria. This is my first lathe. I hope to use it to make hobby work and have my kids learn to use it. I got a bunch of tooling with it and will need help figuring out what all these parts do.

I've been keeping my eye out for a nice broach set at a reasonable price. This is a nice duMont set that seems to have seen very little use...got it at a local auction. Of course, I just finished a project where a broach set would have been handy!

I didn't steal it, but it was only 10 minutes away and looked super clean so I figured it was worth a shot. Last I looked I paid about what a new import set would run me, so I'm happy. I've seen many scruffy sets in the $350-400 range which surprised me until I saw this set is around $800 new

I made an auction score last weekend. A Starrett rear plunger indicator, a Starrett protractor, a tired Central Tool indicator with the tool holder mounts, and an NSK indicator with a magnetic base. A full letter stamp set 1/8" high.. And a couple Lufkin 100' tapes in there too..
All for a whopping $6! I was standing there dumbfounded when nobody else bid!

I answered a craigslist ad for a 'package deal'...

I met the seller this morning and came home with a truckload...



Including a small Speedaire compressor...



A Black & Decker jigsaw...



An offshore pedestal grinder...



A Craftsman rolling mechanics stool...



A Craftsman 4 ½" angle grinder...



A new in box, never been unwrapped 40 ft extension cord reel...



And a steel utility cart...



... all for $100... and it all works.
