What Did You Buy Today?

Is it a 4x4? That's a crazy good price.
Yep 4x4, and also came with the Factory Ford wheels with studded snow tires on them as well with about 90% tread, but we did have to drive a 100 miles to pick them up separately. Worked out as Costco was on the way. Can't believe it that It is 3 years newer than my RAM truck.

Yep, this one probably deserves a You Suck award. :)

I have a dozen Plano and never broke one.
I only broke one; Amazon broke two in a 4-pack. I have 30+ 7-1/4 x 11 x 1-3/4 boxes plus a few larger & smaller for hardware and small tool storage.

The one I broke had some 3/8” x 8” studs that impacted the end of the box when it hit the concrete floor from 4’ up.

You have to be extra careful with the compartment boxes when they're real cold. I keep a portable fastener kit, a fat 50 ammo can full of compartment boxes and fasteners commonly needed for DIY projects around the house, so I've had the learning experience. I hope I've actually learned.

I came out of my 70 degree warm truck seconds before the drop. Apparently it's made of thin Oreo cookie crisps.

TEMCo toe jack in prep for moving the 6,600 lb bed mill into it's permanent spot.

From a video recommendation for spindle angular contact bearings. A forum member posted a link to the video, apparently the video guy rebuilds spindles for a living.

Also from the video, for bearing journals prior to installation.

Well that didn't last long..........

One of my stepsons Now wants it pretty bad , and he does need a truck but was not wanting a Ford- "that is until he actually saw it."

It is a Nice truck, but after driving it to title, insure etc. I find I do prefer my 03 3500 RAM with Cummins.

All's well that ends well and it will get him into a decent 4x4 truck for cheap.

ps. A new what did I buy today, stick on 1/4 and 1 oz. wheel weights for balancing tires.

Bought some metal from an auction. There’s that plus a whole bunch more :)View attachment 514448View attachment 514449

So that 2”x10’ steel rod (2nd from right in the first pic) that Shiseiji suggested cutting down so I can stand it upright in my garage? It’s bloody STAINLESS! Discovered by trying to cut a couple of feet off it and the band dulling in less than a minute Fitted a 4tpi band and it’s slowly been chewing through it
