As a Hoppie graduate, class of 1978, it's Johns Hopkins. More accurately, it's The Johns Hopkins University. Strangely enough, I live in the former residence of John Hopkins, built in 1853. He was a local grocer.I didn't buy it today , rather dug it up from the basement . A little DotCo air grinder . I paid $100 for it way back when in the late 70s when starting out and thought it was damn expensive back then . I did get to use it prototyping the first artificial heart pumps for John Hopkins . Mounted in the CNC lathe I ran a multiple variable pitch lead grooves into Delrin . Pretty cool little job that made the company some big bucks . But , back to the point . $100 back in the late 70s , now ..........................
