Where I am from, amongst the common kids, "Polo Match" meant something entirely different than people riding horses and using a big stick to hit a small ball in front of the "yah-yah" crowd!

Yah-yah, indeed: sounds like somthing a bunch of oiks would say

I'll have you know that we attended matches at a local Country Club back in the 70's, tailgating around the small arena. THE University (as it is loving called by those fortunate enough to have attended) Polo Club now has a full-size Polo Field of its own.

Jeez , I have a Polo club a mile away . Never been there other than for soccer games over the years .
