What Did You Buy Today?

So this happened today....

I have a Clausing 6913 with a pile of tooling, but it has a few things that need to be addressed so it's mostly been sitting. I've got two other lathes so I haven't been under pressure to really dig into it. I saw an auction I've bought from recently had a 6913 partially disassembled and I couldn't resist. All I know is what you can tell from the one picture. The previous owner was a pretty famous machinery guy (his info has been posted here) who restored a lot of machines, so I'm not sure if he was taking it apart to part out, or taking it apart to restore. I'll pick it up next week and see, but it wasn't expensive, so I'm going to be fine no matter what happens. It looks pretty clean so I'd be surprised if it has a terminal problem, but that's possible.

Got these at Jacktown today.
I didn't know if these would fit my holder, now, I wish I would have bought more, they are German made..
I don't know the radius yet, haven't looked them up. They do fit.. and for $5 for the pack I wish I bought more.
The end mill is a brand new old stock, 1/2" also $5.

Getting really sick of trying to fight indicating things without the right tools. Although, starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel, in terms of tools that are needed. This should help out around the lathe for some upcoming projects.

I ordered a B&S once of these from Ebay and wasn't paying attention to the shaft size. It will only take up to 0.251". Not even sure if I have a dial indicator with that small of a shank. Grrrr. Well keep looking.

Have a lathe follow rest that's way too much follow rest for my lathe. At least it was only a couple of $20 bills! Lol
