What Did You Buy Today?

Needed some bigger single O flute end mills for the router table.
We use Onsurd bits on our CNC. Top quality and will out last most others on the market. We use the intermediate coated compression spirals mostly 3/8" cutting melamine or HPL particle board. They can be sharpened but you loose the coating. We take them out of service as soon as the back side of the finished board starts showing any deterioration. They still have life left for hobby use. Send me your address if you'd like to try some. I use my D-bit grinder to sharpen the ends for cutting metal. They are compression spirals so not ideal for metal but work for shallow cuts. You must be cutting plastic to use O flute bits?

This is probably the luckiest I've gotten in my life. Old colleague said he had a old rotary table he wanted to get rid off.
Just so happens to be a huge Kearney&Trecker table in almost mind condition, with indexing plate and everything.
Now I just need to think of some projects to use it on.

I made two purchases yesterday... I bought a new mower...

...and a thermal imaging camera...

The camera is not an expensive one, but is a pretty neat tool, anyway. I bought it because I saw someone on youtube using one to check for clogged radiator tubes in an antique car. I cranked my '40 Ford this morning and tried it... my radiator heated up uniformly except for the circle directly in front of the fan, so hopefully it's ok.

Bought me some creature comfort. More temps in the hundy's expected here in Texas for the coming days so I skipped pace and installed a 2 ton two head mini split. One head (shown) in shop left brain, other head (not shown) in shop right brain. Seems to have no problem cooling down with my 5.5" spray foam walls. The unit was cycling at 70 degrees with an outside temp of 104 yesterday.

Now I can get back to my lectrickle without occasionally passing out

Very nice! I plan to do the same with mine.

Got some good news today, two weeks from now they will be pouring the concrete for my detached garage (small workshop) in Ocala... that was what was stopping us from completely moving to Ocala... once that is built I can then move all my crap over...

But doing the same setup, split unit with dual setup...

so first, that circle in front of your fan is probably the center, so no big deal (case solved)
I hope you can get money back , it looks like the mower is used  .
and finally, only 80.8 degrees Fahrenheit???? what??? it was way hotter over here today, and your in GA... I would have expected your motor temps to be in the 140-160 degree range.
I love my infrared therm, no visual, just temps, but it's great.
