What causes this motor sound to appear after a few minutes - running on VFD?

Just an update...and again thank you for all the help. I tried the Autotune function and it may have quieted the squeal a very little bit ??? , but the chirping still came back after around four minutes.
I rewired the motor to run through my lathes TECO L510. It still had some squal as expected - but it did not start the chirping at any time. So I guess the cheaper Delta VFD is not as compatible with the motor. I am not sure what I will do next. I would like the convenience of variable speed, but do not like the squeal sound. For what ever reason I don't detect a squeal on my lathe setup.
If I decide to spend the money, any suggestion where to buy an economical, yet quality VFD and inverter rated motor?
Thank you all again for taking the time to help. Jim

I have bought VFDs from Dealers Electric and Automation Direct. Good prices and fast delivery. I like Teco VFDs, they are a good value, the Automation Direct units are very good too. I haven’t bought any three phase motors in many years, so can’t recommend any places to get them, but Dealers and AD would likely be good places to look.

The cheap HY units sold on Amazon seem to perform well- you might just start with the cheapest and work your way up :cupcake:

I would recommend the Automation Direct GS20/GS21 VFDs as reasonably priced and work well, I have installed quite a few and the setup and software is pretty straight forward. They are made by Delta, but they are a higher end model and as well as good tech. support and warranty. They are available in a standard model and a NEMA 4 model. Having used some of the HY VFD's I do not recommend them for the same reasons as your are having problems with your current VFD. You do not need an inverter rated motor to use a VFD, in particular at 230VAC,
