VFD slip compensation

Well, I’ll admit that I’m occasionally a dumbass. The motor was wired for 440V, not 220V like the label on the pecker head says. I moved the jumpers around and now the mill accelerates like it should and has the power that I expect from a 3hp mill. With my 2” indexable face mill running 1000 RPM, I can take full width x 0.100” DOC passes in 1018 CRS at probably 20-30 IPM feed rate. Before I fixed the wiring, I could stall the motor taking 0.030” DOC at a slower feed rate.
