How many guys or gals currently own a Boyer Shultz Six Twelve Surface Grinder?
Is yours mounted on a stand?
Does it have the Vacuum in the base?
Is it manual or hydraulic?
Do you have the Hydraulic unit?
How often do you use it?
Do You have the OEM wheels mounted on it ?
Please Post Pictures

I have a manual 6x12 challenger. Mounted on factory stand factory automatic oiler. Doesn’t have the factory vac setup but I made one. Also made a coolant setup but rarely use. I use the grinder a lot usually for every project to get that grind finish. I have a plethora of wheels and hubs and I keep Them on the hubs till their done.

Had a Deluxe manual for at least 5 years. Auto oiler, no built in vac, running on vfd. Manual chuck. Half dozen Sopko hubs. Use it often, and works good enough for what I do as hobby.

I made an insulated wood cabinet for the separate shop vac to cut the noise, made a metal cyclone that mounts to side of cabinet. It sits 3 feet from the grinder, and easy to have conversation with vac running.

I just recently sold my 6-12 Deluxe. It had the dust collection cabinet underneath the grinder. It was a manual machine. It would have been a decent machine if the ways were not in such bad shape.

I have a 6-12 Deluxe manual with the auto oiler.

I went to buy a standard well used 6-12, but when I got there it was on the floor in pieces. It was being returned to the seller for some reason and the people delivering it dropped and broke it.

I wound up with the Deluxe as I had travelled some distance, and the seller was someone I knew through channels and felt bad.

Paid $300 and it is in very good shape.

I hope to scrounge up the Hydraulic components and convert it.

I have a 618 Challanger, manual -factory stand and oiler. I fab’d a vacuum port for the dust, i use a paint pale vacuum cleaner (home depot product)
