POTD- PROJECT OF THE DAY: What Did You Make In Your Shop Today?

Used my metal lathe to turn some wood today. We had a busted handle on a garden digging fork. We could not find a replacement, so I got one that was close, turned the end down to the right angle, it's as good as new!

It was apparent I need to make a spider for my lathe. With the angle of the compound I couldn't use tail support, it seemed to work ok anyway.

Did I see correctly that you used an Aluminium insert for that?

BTW, nice job, kind of thing I would do ;)
