LOL , our member saw the garage and basement . He will attest to my organization and cleanliness . They didn't see the other basement or my bedroom . Of course you know , this is utter

I have needed to make a gib for a member for a few months. Today I dragged myself out and knocked it out.
I needed to make a simple fixture to hold it.
This was just a test piece of Aluminum. The real deal will be ductile iron.

The 30 deg setup

The .013 per inch face taper using double sided tape to hold down. It worked great. I only removed .005 per pass.

All done

Cutting oil is my blood.

You know, I don't know whether to be jealous of the US based members of this forum or relieved that I'm unlikely to be visiting Maryland (or anywhere in the US, for that matter; even four days in Seville last week, has left me brassic) any time soon.

“brassic:” had to look that one up!

On the plus side, my Little Shop is only about 90 minutes away, and another hour to America’s oldest brewery (which has great lager). And if you visit in early January we’ll take you to Cabin Fever!

There was no clean-up . Maybe in a month or 2 when the daughter moves her stuff out of the other basement .

No , not exactly . Lot of things have left but are replaced with more hidden stuff down the other house . If the BP goes and most of the Kennedy boxes , I'll gain a little space . For how long ? Eh' , maybe a week or two . Have to get my tractors back in somehow .

Figured out how to Tetris all my machines and tool boxes into my one car garage and still have space for the project car.

I bought a 27” roller cab to replace the 42” one but I don’t need it and will be returning to HF.
