Not necessary if you do it right, You start from the hose and work toward the end, but don't go within 1-2 threads of the end.
I start with a tail so I can hold it. I would never chowder the threads like that.
 
Had to tear apart the JD tractor again . Wasn't getting gas thru the brand new carb . Took the bowl off and found rust inside of a BRAND NEW CARB ? Shot it down with cleaner and the tractor started right up . I don't know if something got into it when I installed it but I didn't see anything . Oh well , it was a quick job on a hot driveway . I'm going to replace the hydraulic overfill tank and I'll be done with it finally . :encourage:

I got that some 15-18 years ago… along with a calendar…. My daughter would not let me put it in the garage… so both (poster and calendar) stayed stashed away until today. Heck, the calendar was still in its wrapper…. I need to find it again to share here. I was saving that one for the workshop.

I was once told that any decent garage/workshop should have at least one…

EDIT: forgot the request… If you look closely, you will eventually see that I got a few autographs

I bought a digital microscope from AliExpress. Was like $25. Seems to work pretty well for the price.

You might find something similar on Amazon.

Years ago we would travel down to Cocoa Beach for a Presidents Weekend national baseball tourney . We always went to a Bar/Restaraunt called Coconuts on the Beach . They had quite a few bikini contests down there and all the pictures were hanging on the walls inside the place . The young boys would go missing every year . :grin: They used to have these contests on Youbube but I haven't seen them lately . Still have all the Hooter's calenders we collected over the baseball years from across the country . These days they all sit in a drawer and have been replaced with National Geo pictures .

I figure they are both the same as .......................I'm looking at places I'll never go . :rolleyes:
